We are so sorry to say that we will have to CANCEL the Lung Love Walk today. Unfortunately, the course is flooded and for everyone’s safety this is the best course of action. We will be at Spotts Park under the covered basketball court from 7:30am to 9:00am for anyone who is already on their way and would like to pick up their t-shirt and race bag. If you cannot make it out this morning to pick up your t-shirt, we will be in touch regarding a future t-shirt pick up date. Move with purpose! Help raise awareness and support for lung cancer. Join us to help those diagnosed, at risk and the people who love them in their fight against lung cancer. Unite those impacted in your community by participating in the Second Annual Lung Love Walk Houston.
The Lung Love Walk Houston 5k will be held on Saturday, November 7th at Spotts Park, 401 S. Heights Boulevard, Houston TX 77007. Please note that there will be a 1-mile option, and we will have the event rain or shine! We look forward to seeing you in November for this family friendly event!
On-site registration begins at 7:30am. The 5k and 1-mile option start at 9:00am and it is an untimed event.
Online Registration is now closed. However, you can still register on Event Day! Event Day Registration Prices are below:
Child (4 years and under): Free
Youth (5 to 12 years): $20
Adult (13 and older): $35
Lung Cancer Survivor: $20
Efforts will be made to provide a t-shirt to all participants; however, t-shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after October 16th.
Fundraising pages will remain open through the end of the year - you may still make a donation to support an individual participant or team!
Funds raised go to support Lung Cancer Alliance's mission of saving lives and advancing research by empowering those living with and at risk for lung cancer.
